However, we hereby bring to your notice that the application for the Screening of candidates for admission into undergraduate programmes of the Federal University of Technology, Akure for the 2017/2018 academic session has officially commenced. First choice Candidates(Both UTME and Direct Entry) who scored 180 and above are therefore invited to make an application for the screening exercise, to be considered for the 2017/2018 admission. However,the portal for the for the online registration opens from Monday 4th and end on Monday 18th September, 2017. However, the for a candidate to access Online Application Form, candidates are required to pay a total sum of N2, 000.00(Two Thousand Naira) payable at any bank on e-tranzact platform only.
ELIGIBILITY
However, Candidates who made the FUTA their First Choice Institution in the 2017/2018 UTME and must posses the following:
- Firstly, a UTME score of 180 and above.
- In addition, candidates must possess five (5) credit passes including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two (2) sittings.
- Finally, the year's admission process is only for those that participated in the screening. However, FUTA will not consider candidates with “Awaiting Results” of any form.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
However, all Candidates are required to;
(i) Firstly, Visit the University’s website for information
(ii) Then, Complete and submit the University Post –UTME Application Form.
(iii) Finally, Print out a copy.
Also note that:
(i) Moreover, candidates are required to come along with the following documents to the exam venue:
- Firstly, Bank Teller indicating payments as appropriate;
- Secondly, JAMB UTME Notification of Results;
- Also, FUTA Post-UTME Acknowledgment slip;
- Also, e-Tranzact payment receipt (collected from the Bank)
- Then, One passport photograph.
(ii)Secondly, candidate should take note that the exam venue is the FUTA Digital Research Centre, “Obanla campus”, FUTA.
(iii) Moreover, cell phones or any other electronic gadget are prohibited into the examination hall.
(iv) Interestingly, candidates expected to must have had a feel of CBT(practice of the
computer-based test by visiting Practice Test Page).
