All aspiring candidates for 2017/2018 admission into The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) undergraduate programmes, are hereby invited to register online for the School admission Post UTME Screening Exercise.

Basic Requirements for FUNAAB Post UTME.

However, to be fully qualified for the Pre-Admission Screening Exercise candidates must have sat for the 2017/2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Secondly his/her UTME Result must have been released by the Exam council.
Finally, a candidate must have scored a minimum of 180 marks for the following programmes:

  1.  First, Agricultural Economics and Farm Management,
  2. Secondly, Agricultural Extension and Rural Development,
  3. Also, Animal Nutrition,
  4. Animal Physiology,
  5. Animal Production and Health,
  6. Aquaculture and Fisheries Management,
  7. Animal Breeding and Genetics,
  8. Agricultural Administration,
  9. Crop Protection,
  10. Environmental Management and Toxicology,
  11. Forestry and Wildlife Management,
  12. Horticulture,
  13. Pasture and Range Management,
  14. Plant Breeding and Seed Technology,
  15. Plant Physiology and Crop Production,
  16. Soil Science and Land Management,
  17. Water Resources Management and Agro-meteorology

Important Note:  All cndidate who want to study Biochemistry, Biological Sciences or Microbiology but scored between 180 and 199 may be considered for Agricultural programmes if they are interested to offer any of the available courses.

Importantly, candidates for Direct Entry admissions should make sure that their Academic Transcripts are forwarded to the Registrar of FUNAAB on or before Tuesday, 31st October, 2017.

  • In the first place, qualified candidates are to visit the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta FUNAAB Admission Portal.
  • Secondly, click on “Apply for Admission” and enter their JAMB UTME or JAMB Direct Entry Registration Numbers to generate and print out their Application Invoice which states their Reference Number and other information on payment of a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only, excluding REMITA fees.
  • Aftwards, candidates should go to any Bank accepting REMITA payment (nationwide) or Online using debit card or via Internet Banking and make payment a non-refundable prescribed fee through the REMITA Reference Number earlier generated.
  • After payment, candidates are to visit to FUNAAB Admission Portal again and complete the e-application form as drected.
  • Note that application opens on Wednesday, 6th September, 2017 and closes on Thursday, 21st September, 2017 (12 noon).

Application Requirements for FUNAAB Post UTME Screening Exercise

  • First and foremost, candidates are required to correctly input their Bio-data, O’Level results, OND/HND/NCE/A-Level/IJMB/JUPEB results (where applicable) and upload a recent coloured passport photograph (not more than 6 months old).
  • Similarly, during the uploading of all required details, candidates are expected to first preview and confirm the entries before clicking on Submit on the acknowledgement page to ensure he is submitting the right one.
  •  Moreso, candidates should thereafter print out the Application Form displaying their passport photograph exactly as was uploaded
  • Beware, correction of wrongly inputed data will charge a fee of One Thousand Naira (N1,000) only as penalty which must as well be done online before the application closing date.
  • In the same fashion, candidates should be aware that complains for  wrong Bio-Data, O’Level results, OND/HND/NCE/A-Level/IJMB/JUPEB results or blank picture would not be entertained after the registration.
  • Therefore, candidates who up-load wrong Bio-Data, O’ Level results and UTME/OND/HND/NCE/A’Level/IJMB/JUPEB results will be automatically disqualified even before the Sreening exam.
FINAL NOTE: Candidates are hereby adviced to get fully prepared by acquiring basic computer skills as the Pre-Admission Screening Exercise is Computer-based just like most other schools.

FUNAAB Post UTME Examination has been scheduled to hold on the following dates;

 Wednesday, 27th September, 2017 and Thursday, 28th September, 2017. UTME

Meanwhile all candidates are to visit FUNAAB Admission Portal from Saturday, 23th September, 2017 to check and print the schedule (venue, date and time) for their Computer-Based Test.
 Unfairlingly, DE candidates are further expected to have submitted their transcript not later than Tuesday, 31st October, 2017 and can check their Transcript Processing Status for verification and Screening Exercises.
