2017/2018 DESPO POST UTME SCREENING FORM- DATE AND GUIDELINES FOR APPLICATION | SCREENING REQUIREMENTS

As a matter of fact, applications are invited from interested and qualified candidates for admission into ND Programmes at Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara (DESPO) for the 2017/2018 academic session as soon as possible.

Application Requirements for Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara Admission

• Interestingly,all candidates who chose Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-oghara as their polytechnic choice during JAMB registration and also those who did not but wish to change to Delta State Polytechnic Oghara are all invited for applications for the post UTME sreening Test Exercise.
• However, candidates are required to have scored a minimum mark of  150 in the recent 2017 UTME.
• Additionally, candidates must possess Five (5) O/L Credits in relevant subjects with Mathematics and English Language not excluded.

• First and foremost, Log on to www.ogharapoly.edu.ng then click on ND Application Form.
• Secondly, click the payment button make a payment for  a non-refundable screening and documentation fee of Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00)  online with an ATM Verve or Master Debit Card.
• Aftwards, print two(2) copies of the online acknowledgement form to finalise the registration.

DESPO Admission Screening Dates & Requirements.

First Day of  Aptitude Test
In the first place, the first Aptitude test is for candidates who chose Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara during UTME Registration and those who did not but able to buy the forms before 29th day of September, 2017.

Date: As can be seen, the Aptitude Test will hold on 4th and 5th October, 2017.

Second Day of Aptitude Test
Furthermore, the second Aptitude Test is strictly  for those who applied after the 1st aptitude test of 4th & 5th October, 2017. Meanwhile, all candidates who did not choose Delta State Polytechnic, otefe-Oghara as their first choice during UTME registration are advised to lvisit JAMB official website and apply for change of institution to Delta State Polytechnic Otefe-Oghara before proceeding for the post UTME Screening Excersise .

Notably, closing date of forms for the Second Aptitude Test is 17th November, 2017. While the Aptitude test is 22nd & 23rd November, 2017 as ca be seen on the schedule below;

List of Required Documents the Aptitude Test:
All candidates for the Aptitude test are required to come on their respective exam dates with the following:

1. First and foremost, original copies of JAMB Result Slip.
2. Also, candidate's  O/L Result Slip.
3. Additionally, candidate's original copies of  Certificate of Local Government of Origin.
4. Similarly, Two (2) Recent Passport Photographs will be required from the candidates.
5. Likewise, the Post UTME application Form (Photocopy).
6. Finally, original and valid Birth Certificate.

Additional information on DESPO Post UTME Screening Exercise 2017/2018

•  Any of the following subjects can be used interchangably;
   Economics or Commerce, Government or History or Civic Education, Biology or Agricultural Science or Fishery or Animal Husbandry, Marketing or Salesmanship, Financial Accounting or Book Keeping, Data Processing or ICT or Computer Studies or Information and communication Technology, 
• Also note that CRS is accepted only for all Business/Social Science Courses.
• Lastly, all candidates who applied for Computer Science must have at least a pass in Physics with four other relevant subjects including English and Mathematics.
