However, we hereby bring to your notice that the application for the Screening of candidates for admission into undergraduate programmes of the Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) for the 2017/2018 academic session has officially commenced. Candidates are therefore invited to make an application for the screening exercise, to be considered for the 2017/2018 admission. AKSU 2017/2018 Post UTME Form; Registeration Giude and Screening Date
Eligibility:
- However, the minimum UTME score is 180, for the 2017/18 admission.
- Hence, for the Direct Entry, a minimum of Lower Credit in Diploma or its equivalent in any of the recognized tertiary institution in Nigeria are eligible to for admission into 200 level in the University.
- More-so, the candidate is expected to have a minimum of credits grade, in English, Mathematics and more 3 courses related to the course of study in talk.
Registeration guideline;
- Firstly, Log on to http://portals.aksu.edu.ng
- Then, click on 2017/2018 REGISTER NOW link
- Follow the details as displayed;
- You will be required to make a payment for the Registration,using RRR, by clicking on the make payment button.
- Then, login to the site again and complete the form completely after making the payment in the bank.
- Finally submit the form and await your screening date.
Exam Date:
However, the Screening exercise for the 2017/2018 first choice applicants will be held from the 18th day of September, 2017 to 25th day of September, 2017.
Venue:
Moreso, the exam will be at the Main Campus, Ikot Akpaden – Mkpat Enin L.G.A from 9.00 a.m daily, as follows:
- Monday (18/09/2017):
- Faculties of Agriculture,
- Arts, Education,
- Department of Mass Communication.
- Tuesday (19/09/2017): Faculty of Engineering(that is, the whole department in Engineering).
- Wednesday (20/09/2017):
- Faculty of Natural & Applied Sciences,
- Departments of Economics and Marketing.
- Thursday (21/09/2017):
- Departments of Accounting,
- Business Administration,
- Public Administration and
- Political Science.
Note;
However, every candidate is requested to print three (3) copies of Registration Slip from the portal, which will serve as your screening Photo card. It also entails vital information such as the date and venue of your Screening.
