However, we hereby bring to your notice that the application for the Screening of candidates for admission into undergraduate programmes of the Bayro University Kano for the 2017/2018 academic session has officially commenced. Candidates who scored 180 and above are therefore invited to make an application for the screening exercise, to be considered for the 2017/2018 admission. However,the portal for the for the online registration opens from Tuesday 5th September 2017, and closes on Friday September 15, 2017. However, date for the screening exercise is from Monday September 18, 2017 to Tuesday 19th September 2017. Eligibility:
All candidates who chose the University as their first choice in the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and made the cut-off marks for their respective departments, as given below are eligible for the screening:| 1. | FACULTY OF AGRICULTURE | 180 and above | |

Method of Application
However, to apply, follow the steps outlined below:
- Firstly, visit the University website www.buk.edu.ng:
- Then click on Prospective students.
- Afterwards, click on the link 2017 UTME REGISTRATION FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE ”.
- Then enter your JAMB Registration Number to be able to generate a Payment Invoice containing the RRR.
- Then, proceed to any of the below Bank with the payment invoice OR simply pay with your ATM Card.

- KETSTONE,
- SKYE
- STERLING
- STANBIC IBTC
- WEMA
- ZENITH
- Then return to the Application page and re-enter your JAMB Registration number again.
- Then, carefully fill the form.
- Also, ensure to enter your O’Level results correctly.
- Then confirm your entries.
- Then submit your application.
- Finally, Print out your acknowledgement slip.
- Await further communication from the University.
Note
that the eligible ones would be required to pay a non refundable processing fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,500.00). However, any “Application submitted successfully cannot be altered. Thanks” Also, those who fail to register within the period WILL NOT be qualified for the Test.Application Deadline
However, the application will close on the Friday, 29th September, 2017. So, the eligible and interested ones should comply on time.
