Detailed Description;

    Louis Bergeris is a foreign engineering firm, operating in the fields of civil engineering, planning,economics, rural development, environment and water.
   As a matter of fact, in the course of the Likki Port Project, we are urgently in need of a Breakwater / Geotechnical Engineer to undertake the role of  monitor and regulating breakwater construction activities and overseeing the production and availability of quarry rock to the site.
   Moreover,due to Louis Berger’s long record  of working in Nigeria and as a specialist in ports planning and development , the company was absorbed as the project management consultant for the new Greenfield multi-use seaport located approximately 60 kilometers east of Lagos to undertake wholistically the planning, design and construction of the seaport.
    However,this new port facility, namely, Port@Lekki, is expected to cover an area of 90 hectares and also  form an essential part of the current 220-hectare the LFTZ ( Lagos Free Trade Zone) built up as a  complex product industrial and logistics hub for the West African region as a whole.
   Obviously, Port Lekki Project in Nigeria is at the verge of  moving into an initial construction stage and we have an immediate need  for a Resident Construction Engineer  to manage mainly breakwater construction activities.

QAULIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS;

• Applicant must possess a minimum of first Degree or its equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Applicants must posses atleast second class lower or an Upper Credit in a relevant Engineering course.
• Also,strong English communication skills at all level is required
• Lastly,Prior marine construction engineering experience that includes breakwater construction, as well as some geotechnical credentials will be an added advantage.
