However, we hereby bring to your notice that the application  for the Screening of candidates for admission into undergraduate programmes of the  Federal University of Technology, Owerri for the 2017/2018 academic session has officially commenced. Candidates who scored 180 and above are therefore invited to make an application for the screening exercise, to be considered for the 2017/2018 admission.  However,the portal for the for the online registration opens from Thursday, August 31, 2017 and closes on Friday September 15, 2017. Method of Application

However, to apply, follow the steps outlined below:

•  Firstly, visit the University website: www.futo.edu.ng
• Then click on Prospective students.
•  Afterwards, click on the link; “2017/2018 POST-UTME Application”.
•  Then enter your JAMB Registration Number to be able to generate a Payment Invoice containing
• the RRR.
• Then, proceed to any Bank with the payment invoice OR simply pay with your ATM Card.
•  Then return to the Application page and re-enter your JAMB Registration number again.
•  Then, carefully fill the form.
•  Also, ensure to enter your O’Level results correctly.
•  Then confirm your entries.
• Then submit your application.
• Finally, Print out your acknowledgement slip.
• Await further communication from the University.

Note that the eligible ones would be required to pay a non refundable processing fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00).

 Duration of the Aptitude Test

However, the eligible ones will have their Aptitude Test, from Monday September 18, 2017 to Saturday September 23, 2017. The specific time and date for each candidates will be

communicated in due course.

NOTE:

• As a matter of fact, you must enter a valid mobile number and e-mail address .
•  Also, those who fail to register within the period WILL NOT be qualified for the Test.

Application Deadline

However, the application commences on Thursday, August 31, 2017 and closes on Friday September 15, 2017. So, the eligible and interested ones should comply on time.
