Job Responsibilities:

• First and foremost, to maintain and research on  purchasing tools (Ariba, OTTO, SAP MDG, etc).
• Secondly, to collect economic and technical data for negotiation preparation or contract setting.
• Also, to analyse the company’s current purchasing strategies for various commodities in order to identify opportunities for savings improvement within the buying processes
• Likewise to be responsible for the managerial functions under CFO and HR Director supervision (relations with third parties: Cleaning, residence permits for expatriates.)
• Lastly, to be fully involved in the organisation and implementation of yearly forecast and reforecast of NPP volumes i.e data provided and validated by Controlling.

   Other Duties;

• Furthermore, to execute and manage NPP resources (incl. Application of the Commodity strategy and SOC) ,maintain best practice purchasing methodologies , report on supplier performance and attributes.
• Moreover, to be fully involved in assisting local services with NPP continuous improvement in terms of Quality, Service and price optimization, by conducting in depth analysis, setting the exact Supplier database in accordance with Company’s Purchasing policies and procedures, optimising on synergies consequently making it a competitive advantage for Schneider Electric.
• Also, to work as Supplier follow up related to Request For Quotation (due dates, technical issues, plant issues, etc).
• Additionally, to prepare orders ,track delivery and cover spend for the  asigned perimeter.
• Similarly, to explain, direct, validate, implement and store exact contractual documents.
• Also, to ensure correct allocation of business orders and resources.
• Finally, to see to the maintenance of professional working relationships with key stakeholders in the business for support and thereby getting best outcome in return.

Basic Qualifications and Requirements

1. First, an interested applicant must be a graduate be fore applying.
2. Secondly, he/she must possess an evidence of successful completion of one year NYSC programme.
3. Importantly, an applicant must possess BSC/HND in commerce or any other administrative/management course.
4. Additionally, Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) or similar qualifications will be an advantage.
5. Lastly an applicant mus have at least  3-5 years Purchasing Experience in a releavant field.
