First choice Candidates(Both UTME and Direct Entry) who scored 150 and above are therefore invited to make an application for the screening exercise, to be considered for the 2017/2018 admission. However, the for a candidate to access Online Application Form, candidates are required to pay a total sum of N2, 000.00(Two Thousand Naira) payable at any bank on e-tranzact platform only.
ELIGIBILITY
However, Candidates who made the UNICAL their First Choice Institution in the 2017/2018 UTME and must posses the following:
- Firstly, a UTME score of 150 and above.
- In addition, candidates must possess five (5) credit passes including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two (2) sittings.
- Finally, the year's admission process is only for those that participated in the screening. However, UNICAL will not consider candidates with “Awaiting Results” of any form.

Method Of Application
- -Firstly, Visit http://www.myunical.edu.ng
- -Secondly, Click on appropriate application link.
- -Also, enter personal details and click continue.
- -Then, select your choices and click continue.
- -Then, correctly enter your O’Level details with number of sittings and click continue.
- -Also, upload your Passport Photograph (50KB maximum size) and click continue.
- -Then, Click on Screening Application to continue.
- -Then, click on Proceed button to continue.
- -Carefully upload your documents and click on “Upload and Continue”.
- -Then, Click on Continue to view payment details.
- -Click on "CollegePay" button to proceed to payment
- -Select your your payment type. OR you can choose to pay with Scratch Card :
Then, you can get the card at any of the following banks within Calabar Metropolis only:
- Unical Microfinance Bank
- Heritage Bank
- First City Monument Bank
- WEMA Bank
- -Then proceed to make the payment click on Pay.
- -After successful payment, proceed by clicking on " Application Documents and Payment Slip".
- -Finally, whenever you want to reprint, click Reprint on the left menu to reprint your documents.
NOTE:
- However, candidates are required to come along with their original UTME result slip;
- Also, candidates are expected to get acquainted to computer, for the Post UTME exercise is Computer Based Test (CBT). Application will not be accepted any moment from the deadline. Hence, the earlier, the better
- Moreover, the exam dates and venue are to be communicated in due time, hence, candidates are advised to check the Portal from Saturday, September 23, 2017 for their venue and time of the CBT.
